Terms of Service
1. About the bot
“22” (the “Bot”) is a Discord bot that helps server administrators run their community: server statistics counters, moderation tools, anti-raid and anti-spam protection, member verification, welcome messages, support tickets, reaction roles and a web management panel.
2. Acceptance
By adding the Bot to a server or by using its features, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please remove the Bot from your server and stop using it. You must also comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
3. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use Discord in your country (at least 13 years old, or higher where local law requires). Only members with the appropriate permissions on a server may add and configure the Bot.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Bot for harassment, hate, illegal activity or anything that violates Discord’s rules;
- attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or exploit the Bot or its panel;
- use the Bot to mass-message or spam people who did not ask to be contacted.
5. Server administrators’ responsibility
Administrators decide how the Bot is configured on their server (sanctions, automatic protections, messages, roles, logs). They are responsible for those choices and for informing their members about the moderation measures in place. Sanctions issued through the Bot are decisions of the server’s staff, not of the Bot’s operator.
6. Availability and warranty
The Bot is provided “as is”, without any guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be suspended or be removed at any time. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of the Bot.
7. Termination
You can stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your server. Access may be restricted or revoked for servers or users who violate these Terms.
8. Changes
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision; continued use of the Bot means you accept the updated Terms.
Privacy Policy
1. Data we process
- Discord identifiers: user, server, channel, role and message IDs, and the usernames/nicknames needed for the Bot to work.
- Moderation records: warnings and sanctions (target, moderator, reason, date) stored on our server so staff can review them.
- Server configuration: the settings chosen by administrators (channels, roles, messages, protections).
- Verification: a captcha code is generated and checked in memory; it is not kept afterwards.
- Tickets: when a ticket is closed, a text transcript can be posted to a log channel chosen by the server’s staff and sent to the member who opened it. Transcripts are not stored on our server.
- Messages: to detect spam and invite links, message metadata (and, if enabled, content) is analysed in memory only. It is not stored.
- Server backups: administrators can create backups of their server’s structure (roles, channels, permissions, emojis, bans and members’ role assignments) from the web panel. They are stored on our server until the administrator deletes them.
2. Why we process it
Solely to provide the Bot’s features. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties.
3. Retention
Moderation records and configuration are kept while the Bot is on the server and can be deleted on request. Backups are kept until deleted by the administrator. In-memory data disappears when the Bot restarts.
4. Security
Data is stored on a private server with restricted access. The web panel is reserved to authorised administrators and uses Discord login. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
5. Your rights
You may ask what data we hold about you, and request its correction or deletion, by contacting us below. Please include your Discord user ID. Under the GDPR you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection authority.
6. Children
The Bot is not intended for children under the minimum age required to use Discord, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
